In reply to your letter dated the 16th Inst., I have it in command to acquaint you, for the information of Earl Grey, that the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury concur in the sanction His Lordship proposes to signify to the Governor of Hong Kong for the appointment of a Chinese Translator and Shroff to the Supreme Court at Hong Kong, reported in the Governor's Despatch, No. 66, of 28th August last.
